The bayonet, 1891/30 model, is a further development of the bayonet developed by Kabakov and Komaricki as part of the modernization of 1930, and differs from the previous model only in the absence of a front-sight cover, transferred into the base of the front-sight post of the rifle. The bayonet was produced in huge circulation and was in service with many countries of the Socialist Commonwealth, along with the Mosin rifle. The bayonets produced during the Second World War are often made quite roughly.
